Paint & Finishing for Work‑Ready Metal Parts & Assemblies

Finish is more than appearance—it’s protection, durability, and proper surface prep. MTW’s paint and finishing operations combine tumbling, Wheelabrator shot blast, and a production paint booth so welded assemblies and components leave our facility clean, coated, and ready to go straight into your equipment or out to your customers.

Paint & Finishing Equipment

When you want parts to arrive clean, coated, and ready to use, this is the stack behind it.

  • Tumblers deburr and clean batches of smaller components so they’re safe to handle and assemble.

  • Wheelabrator shot blast gives smaller parts a uniform, clean surface before paint or shipment.

  • A production paint booth and cure setup finish frames, weldments, and assemblies to your coating and color requirements.

  • You choose: ship parts prepped for your paint line, or fully finished and ready to go to work.

Paint & Finishing Equipment & Capabilities

  • Colmet EMD1409‑26‑N‑SB paint booth with 14' × 9' × 26' interior and a heated cure system for wet spray painting in customer‑specified colors, including clear coats, structural primers, macropoxy, and other industrial coatings.

  • Three tumblers (6' bowl, 3' bowl, and 4' × 2' shaker) set up with ceramic media for deburring/edge‑breaking and corncob media for drying and light polishing—ideal for batches of small components.

  • Wheelabrator shot blast system for smaller parts, providing compact, high‑capacity cleaning with gentle tumbling and full exposure of all surfaces to the blasting stream, giving you consistently prepped parts ready for coating or shipment.
