Forming & Bending for Structural & Precision Parts

Forming is where flat parts gain strength and geometry. MTW’s press brakes and tooling produce consistent bends so your parts assemble as designed, without fighting tolerance stack‑ups in the field.

Press Brakes

What Sets Us Apart

  • Form channels, angles, and complex bends from flat blanks.

  • Produce brackets, guards, and panels to your bend specs.

  • CNC control and crowning help keep bends consistent across the batch.

  • You get formed parts that actually fit the assemblies you designed.

Press Brake Equipment & Capabilities

  • Durma AD‑S‑37220 press brake (242 ton, 12' 1" bed with crowning and 144" of tooling) for long and heavy bends, plus a Premier 870‑R (70 ton, 8' bed) for mid‑sized work.

  • Precision Wila tooling helps minimize witness marks and improve bend consistency, while a 4‑axis CNC backgauge and hydraulic clamping speed up setups and tool changes.

  • CNC crowning and careful checking of flat patterns and bend allowances let us keep formed parts within tolerance across the entire length of the bend, batch after batch.
